This week’s guest: Trevor Powers with excerpts from Triumph Tragedy 2012.

This week’s guest Trevor Powers shows us excerpts from his series Triumph Tragedy 2012.

There is not much to say about the pictures except that they were all taken during 2012 – a year in which a lot of changed occurred in my life (moving across the country for one). The year of 2011 was probably the worst year of my life because I lost two family members in the span of 6 months, one very, very unexpectedly. So, 2012 was my year to get over things, move on, take chances, make pictures of whatever the hell I wanted to. I wanted to document this year of my life, my surroundings, all the details no matter how boring.

Thanks for being our guest, Trevor!
