pictures by Duncan Madaris Hill

This week a picture a day’s guest is Baltimore (MD) based Duncan Madaris Hill. He shows us parts of his series Artificial Light. In Duncan’s own words: “My photographs of artificial light look at how lighting influences our perception of a place. I look for locations where the surfaces illuminated in the dark of night tell us a story. Whether by coincidence, or clearly designed intention, artificial light can inform, manipulate, and inspire.”

Thank you for being our guest, Duncan!
